  7. SECTION 1: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  9. To install the 1.01 patch of Star General (Win 95), copy all the files
  10. contained in the archive file into your Star General folder
  11. (the default install directory is C:\Program Files\Stargen) and
  12. type: PATCH <PRESS ENTER> while at the DOS prompt.
  13.  
  14. After the patch is complete, you can delete the following
  15. files from your hard drive:

  17. PATCH.RTP
  18. PATCH.EXE
  19. PATCH.TXT (This text file)

  22. SECTION 2: WHAT THE PATCH ADDRESSES

  24. The 1.01 version of Star General focuses on the following areas:
  25.  
  26. 1) The AI is more aggressive in terms of invading player controlled
  27. planets and neutral planets.
  28.  
  29. 2) The AI is more aggressive in ground combat.
  30.  
  31. 3) Fixes a bug associated with the AUTOSAVE utility.

  33. 4) Fixes some bugs associated with multiplayer game sessions.
